The Challenge

You're an expert in your field.
The camera doesn't know that yet.

Most executives who struggle on camera aren't struggling because they lack substance. They're struggling because nobody taught them how to translate that substance into something that lands in the first seven seconds.

The result? Interviews that don't move the needle. Panels where you disappear. Investor conversations where the idea is brilliant but the delivery buries it.

That's a communication problem. And communication problems are fixable.

Why It's Different

Most coaches watched the game.
I played it.

For 24 years I stood in front of cameras under real pressure — live shots, breaking news, high-stakes moments where being unclear or flat wasn't an option.

I've coached anchors, reporters, and executives who came through broadcast television. I know what good looks like because I've lived inside a machine that required it every single day.

"That's not a background detail. That's the entire reason working with me is different."

Who This Is For

Built for leaders who can't afford to get it wrong.

Before a Major Interview

CNBC. Bloomberg. Forbes. A journalist who doesn't owe you a kind question. You get one shot — let's make sure it counts.

Before a High-Stakes Panel

Conference keynote. Industry panel. Investor day. The room is watching and the right people are in it.

Before a Visibility Moment

Congressional briefing. Board presentation. The moment where your credibility — and your story — are on the line.

What I Do

Three Ways I Help Leaders Communicate

Every engagement is built around one belief: you already have the substance. My job is to help you deliver it in a way that lands instantly, holds attention, and gets remembered.

01

Executive Media Training

You're going on camera. The stakes are high. You have one chance to get it right. Whether it's a press interview, a podcast, a virtual panel, or a live broadcast — this program prepares you for the moment before it happens.

  • Building a hook that lands in the first seven seconds
  • Killing the habits that quietly undermine your credibility
  • Answering hard and hostile questions without losing your footing
  • On-camera presence — eye contact, posture, stillness under pressure
  • The bridge technique — answering any question while staying on message
Format
One-on-one or group sessions. Half-day or multi-day programs. In-person or virtual.

02

Panel & Conference Coaching

A panel is a completely different communication environment than a one-on-one interview. Different rules. Different pressure. Most executives walk onto a panel without knowing what those rules are — which is why they either disappear or overplay it.

  • How to hold your position when interrupted
  • Taking up the right amount of space — not too much, not too little
  • Making the moderator your ally, not your adversary
  • Bridging from their question to your message
  • Staying memorable without dominating
Format
Simulation-based. Real panel conditions. Real pressure. Real feedback.

"A panel is a different game. I help you know the rules before you walk in."

03

Executive Communication Foundation

Not every high-stakes moment is on camera. But every high-stakes moment requires you to know your story, own your message, and deliver it with the conviction it deserves.

  • Your professional headline — one sentence that opens every door
  • Your hook — the 25-second version of your story anyone remembers
  • Message architecture — what to say, in what order, to whom
  • Confidence and delivery — the physical and vocal signals of authority
Format
Ideal starting point for executives new to coaching or preparing for a major visibility moment.

Every program includes:

  • On-camera practice with immediate feedback
  • A professional headline you own
  • A final recorded on-camera moment
  • Notes and follow-up resources

About Nick Allard

I've been on the other side of the camera.
That's why this works.

For 24 years I stood in front of cameras under real pressure. Now I help executives find the story they already have — and deliver it the way it deserves.

The Story

24 years. Hundreds of live shots. One lesson that changed everything.

For 24 years I worked in broadcast television as a meteorologist and storyteller. Live shots. Breaking news. Deadline pressure. Cameras rolling with hundreds of thousands of people watching.

In that time I coached a lot of people — anchors, reporters, guests, executives who came through the station. I saw what happened when someone had something genuinely important to say and the message didn't land. And I saw what changed when it did.

That gap — between having something worth saying and being able to say it in a way that gets remembered — is the entire reason Sunrise Media Consulting exists.

I work with executives, founders, and senior leaders who are about to step into high-visibility moments. My job is not to turn you into a performer. It's to help you become the most compelling version of the communicator you already are.

The substance is already there. Let's make sure it lands.
